Vs1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Vs2. I shall not want for Rest.
Vs2. I shall not want for Refreshment.
Vs3. I shall not want for Forgiveness.
Vs3. I shall not want for Guidance.
Vs4. I shall not want for Companionship.
Vs4. I shall not want for Comfort.
Vs5. I shall not want for Sustenance.
Vs5. I shall not want for Joy.
Vs6. I shall not want for Goodness.
Vs6. I shall not want for Mercy.
Vs6. I shall not want for the life to come.

A little girl in Sunday school stood up and quoted what she thought was the first line of the 23rd Psalm. She said, “The Lord is my shepherd and that’s all that I want”.The Sunday school teacher said, “That’s not quite right.”
To the little girl and her understanding it was right enough. What say you?

With the little girl’s sentiment and looking at all the wonderful provision found in verses 2 to 6 I am so glad to be one of the Lords sheep. ARE YOU?

Are you one of His sheep?
