The Times last Sunday reported that in America primary school children were being given a ‘drag queen’ story hour, with drag Queens reading the stories and entertaining the kids. Each child was given a pink sticker stating ‘drag Queen in training’. Could this be construed as ‘grooming’?
I wonder what would have happened if a church group had run a story time and handed out stickers – ‘disciple of Jesus in training’? Probably all hell would break loose!
